Dagara Cosmology-5 Elements

The Dagara cosmology is a central, integral and guiding energetic awareness of the Dagara people.  It helps us to observe, understand and engage the balance of these five important spiritual elemental energies.  They not only exist in the physical world in nature, but also the Other World, the unseen world, the world of Spirit along with inside each person, within all of our relationships and communities, each organization, group, village and nation. 

Each element has particular characteristics that are important in understanding how each effects us.  Awareness of these characteristics also helps us understand the balance between these profound energies within us, within our relationships, communities and larger social dynamics.
