Levels of A-Whereness

Levels of A-Whereness -

A-Whereness is a system of energetic observations of naturo-spiritual dynamics guided by intimate information as seen through the Dagara (west African indigenous culture) cosmology.  It is an earth-conscious system of experiencing and analyzing individual and communal human being and becoming along with our relationship to the earth, nature and Spirit, an awareness deeply lacking in the divisive and dissociative reductionism of our modern anti-cultural world. A-Whereness provides an opportunity to look and feel into our existence and welcome a new insights so as to foster deeper integration and healing.

The four following levels for the core of the observational practice:

Presence

  • being
  • self-awareness

A-Whereness

  • locality
  • proximity
  • spaciality
  • environmental/communal awareness

Movement

  • generation, impulse, initiative
  • manipulation
  • social action
  • seeking active observation, acquiring information
  • linearity

Cyclicality

  • resolved movement, return, circularity, reciprocity
  • insightful observation
  • pattern, system
  • becoming
  • history, listening, learning

A-Whereness practice is applicable to personal, interpersonal, small group, large group and community/organizational dynamics.  Ukumbwa is experienced in guiding individuals and large groups in spiritual and cultural contexts and looks forward to sharing this functional and embodied system of awareness with individuals, groups, organizations and communities.  He is excited to travel with appropriate support to communities near and far in the interest of healing, balance and justice.

The forest is...
and transpires sacred water vapor into its atmosphere,
 pulled through its body collective....
vapor mist rising into the sky forming pregnant clouds...
and returning to give life's flow again.
